Mealplan Monday

I did so good today at preparing for the week… and menu planning was one of the things I accomplished!

Here’s my menu for the week: (I’m just listing my dinner meals because the other 2 meals of the day are usually about the same.  I just rotate them.  Whole Wheat Pancakes, Oatmeal or PB Toast for breakfast (or cereal on chill out days!) w/ fresh fruit and/or a Spinach smoothie and for lunches… Snack Lunch, PB&J, pasta or things like that.)

MONDAY: **(bake bread)

Crockpot Chili w/ sour cream and shredded chedder & long grain rice

TUESDAY:

Old Fashioned Chicken & Dumplings (from Little House Cookbook) & peas

WEDNESDAY:**(bake bread)

Whole Wheat Rotini w/ sauce & shredded cheddar, scalloped corn Kansas (LH Cookbook)

THURSDAY:

Breakfast 4 Dinner— Homemade waffles w/ PB & maple syrup, pineapples, and mandarin oranges

FRIDAY:**(bake bread)

Pizza & carrot sticks

SATURDAY:

Baked Mac & Cheese, peas

SUNDAY:

BBQ Chicken, hot dogs, burgers…. whatever!  w/ macaroni salad, potato salad & chips

DESSERTS PLANNED FOR WEEK:

Hasty Pudding, and also from LH Cookbook—-> Molasses Cookies & Apple Upside Down Cake

  1. Sounds like a pretty good menu. And isn't it wonderful to have some days where you don't have to be anywhere, go anywhere? Gotta love that!!!
