Today was the 1st BIG storm of the year and the kids had a blast outside while Daddy and big brother shoveled!

Speaking of "big brother"… here he is!

and the other 4 kids from oldest to youngest…

Here’s Daddy…

Hard at work…

"C" is such a big help to him!

I thought this was cute of little guy, "E"… he looked so cute walking around with the little pom pom hood behind him…

Thank God for warm mittens!!!

Ooops…didn’t get all the summer toys put away!  (and that’s "A" making a snow angel by the Jeep)

It’s a good day for a ride!

It may not officially be winter… but it sure does look like it here!!

Have a GREAT week!  In Christ, Bridget

  1. but perhaps you can explain why you shovel/plow/blow the snow while it is still snowing. Hmmmm.

  2. Oh snow. Great pictures! I love the snow ride in the jeep. Too cute. Thanks for sharing. Love you,

  3. Wow look at all that snow. I think I need a good cup of coffee to stay warm. We have had freeze warnings but no snow. Enjoy

  4. What great pictures. I wish it would snow here. I think it would be quite a shock to people though, since we live in Southern California. Sigh.
I guess I will have to live vicariously through my friends snow pictures here at HSB.

  5. Great pictures! What fun. Little E is so cute in his snow gear! Oh, who am I kidding, they all look cute!

  6. Looks like you had a lot of fun! We certainly did here! My oldest (3½) enjoyed sliding down a Daddy-created slide in our front yard while he shoveled. God bless!

Katie, the more you shovel it, the less damage it does to the back (due to the weight of the snow)! Also, at any time it can turn to rain and if it's frozen snow, that's even harder to get through! haha 😀 At least that is why we do it! 😉 Miss you at RGT!
